Gather with friends to celebrate the opening of our “Upstairs Atelier” indoor workshop space in the barn. We have a fun indoor art/nature project that supports and nourishes our beautiful Lowcountry birds. Just as the blue birds are starting to move about, as are others, we will create a beautiful artistic element to our gardens called a “Nesting Ball”. This creative natural art supports our birds with nesting material for their important spring nesting season. Most of our native grasses, trees and shrubs have elapsed from their season of fluffy nesting components and are hunkered down to begin regrowing. It’s the perfect time to creatively assemble this little beauty for our gardens.

We have gathered natural materials including vines, wool and other natural elements to launch the garden artist and birding enthusiast in you. Feel free to bring any “natural elements” you may have on hand that you’d like to add to this fun and creative project.

Refreshments provided.
