Field Grown Floral Design on Wimbee Creek Farm
Our Flower Fields are blooming once again with summer annuals and garden roses and we are so pleased to invite you to join us for a day on the farm to participate in our bounty.
Our day begins with a Flower Barn Welcome with morning refreshments and orientation to the day! Maria will share the background of the farm with you and make you feel at home. We’ll take a walk and see our production areas up close with a look at the greenhouse, the roses and the annual production areas. We’ll talk about growing in the south and all that entails.
The design process is a very unique experience. We guide you with some principles of design with a demonstration, then unleash you to explore your creativity as you enjoy the process of working with flowers and arranging. The arrangement is yours to design and take home.
Lunch may be the best part as we enjoy a long table luncheon on the back deck of the farmhouse. Farm fresh vegetables and a lovely setting round out the day for your enjoyment. Our meals are flexible for those requiring consideration of dietary needs, so please let us know if you have any special restriction.
