Porcupine quills describe the petals of the Rudbeckia hirta ‘Chim Chiminee’, a durable late summer into autumn bloomer in the perennial garden. They pair well with sunflowers and the deeper shades of amaranth and zinnia for a very satisfyingly rich color palette. Giant semi-double and single flowers can reach 6 in. across in a multitude of shades of gold, mahogany and bronze. Well-branched plants grow 24-30 in. tall, with strong stems for cutting. Available in 1 Gallon pots.
