Nature Journaling – A fun and very personal way of expressing your experience with nature and your garden! Join us in the Flower Barn in this hands on 2-day workshop that takes you from foraging to preserving with artistic and personal creative expression.

Led by local expert nature and gardening consultant and Low Country Master Gardener Victoria Bergeson, we are thrilled to offer the talents and expertise of this amazing naturalist. You will spend two days with us on the farm, foraging and learning the art of nature journaling and preserving, taking with you a beautiful collection of your own work and some personal tools to continue on your journey.

Day 1 – we will forage and learn to create prints with various substrates and dips and fixatives (fascinating, right?). All materials necessary for the workshop will be provided to you. Wimbee Creek Farm will serve a light box lunch.

Day 2, Victoria will return to you the pages that you created, bundled and steamed, ready for you to assemble – the exciting part! You will take with you your completed waterfall style journal, a plant press of your very own and an inspired sense of your relationship with nature. We will celebrate with a sit-down long table luncheon on the back porch of the Wimbee Creek Farm farmhouse under the oaks.

We look forward to sharing this time with you on the farm. Victoria is a celebrated local native plant expert and plantsman, in addition to her many levels of involvement in the areas of gardening, garden design, and author of numerous publications on these subjects. This is a limited space workshop and not to be missed!

you will receive an email prior to the workshop with all the details you need and what to expect.
we look forward to seeing you soon.
