We are excited to spend an autumn day with you!

Your day on Wimbee Creek Farm begins with our gathering at the Flower Barn for morning coffee and freshly baked coffee cake. We’ll meet and greet and share stories of the farm’s history, flowers and friendship, as we prepare for the day ahead. Designated work stations will be set up so that you can be comfortable to enjoy the day’s activities.

We”ll go on a walking tour of the farm’s flower production areas and talk about the seasonality of the fall garden. We’ll share gardening ideas and experiences with you of growing flowers year round. We’ll talk about annuals, perennials, garden roses and more.

Returning to the Flower Barn, we’ll launch into a description of the dried flowers and elements we’ll have for you to design with and provide a design demonstration with instruction into our tried and true techniques for success. Then we will unleash you to create your own dried floral wreath ias we guide and help you as much as you’d like.

Lunch may be the best part! You will enjoy a mostly vegetarian meal (sometimes we have pickled shrimp on the menu), and we are happy to take requests for special dietary considerations. Our menu is “farm to table” utilizing elements from our garden and our chickens eggs as much as possible. Lunch takes place under the oak trees by the water on the farmhouse back porch. We are so happy to have you join us there as you share community with each other.

All tools, flowers and elements are included for you to create your own dried wreath to take home with you.
