Northern Sea Oats are a clumping perennial grass that is a lovely accent in the cutting garden from spring when the blades green up and emerge through the formation of dainty fluttering seed heads in the late summer until the plant takes on the hues of fall. The seed heads are such a lovely element in flower arranging, offering movement and height in a bouquet or upright design as well as a draping element for the centerpiece arrangement.
